The Emerald Coast Hispanic Heritage Festival’s original flyer lists October4. A later-supplied announcement dated October2 moves it to Sunday, October18. Both are preserved in the archive, with the older date identified as superseded. That distinction matters when event flyers keep circulating after plans change. [1]
The festival’s revised announcement
Creative Life Media’s supplied announcement lists October18, noon to 9p.m., at The Landing, 139 Brooks Street, with free admission. It describes music, dance, food, art and community activities. This is the organizer’s advertised plan; check the organizer for any subsequent storm-related changes before traveling. [1]
The release says weather concerns prompted the change. The archive retains the original flyer as part of the record, rather than silently replacing it. The new date comes from the rescheduling announcement.
Dates confirmed on the city calendar
The city calendar lists the Chase Mitchell Band at The Landing on October16, 6–8p.m., and the library’s trunk-or-treat on October17, 4–6p.m. The library notice places the event in its parking lot; the city listing gives the library address as 185 Miracle Strip Parkway SE. [2][3]
On October20, the city lists a public land-development-code workshop beginning at 5:30p.m. The supplied Growth Management flyer gives the location as the Annex Training Room, 105 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, and invites discussion of proposed building and zoning changes. [2][4]
October23 brings the city’s advertised Rockstarfish concert at The Landing and Recreation Center trunk-or-treat, both 6–8p.m. The recreation flyer gives 132 Jet Drive NW as its location. These are calendar listings checked October14, not guarantees against later changes. [2]
