What has been verified
This page records the notices reviewed; it is not a live water-quality feed. A matching rescission has not been established for each archived advisory. Absence of a rescission in this review does not prove that an advisory remains active.
- October 2 — Garnier’s Park: The city posted a DOH-Okaloosa recreational-water advisory based on September 30 sampling. Official notice.
- October 11 — Santa Rosa Sound and Choctawhatchee Bay: The archived agency notice addresses wastewater releases and distinguishes the affected waters from drinking-water service. Archived notice.
- October 13 — post-storm swimming precautions: The city’s DOH message explicitly says it is not a formal health advisory. It directs readers to testing information and pool reopening requirements. Official message.
Utility restoration is a separate update
Water and sewer restoration notices concern service availability. They do not clear beaches, bays or pools for swimming. See the county emergency updates and your utility’s location-specific notices for service information.
Check the issuing agency
DOH-Okaloosa news and notices are the starting point for later advisories and rescissions. Match the location and notice date; an older lifting notice for another site or year is not a current all-clear.
